Originally known as the Spit post marathon this race is the first of our distance races. The course has taken on various forms and lengths over the years depending on race directors and conditions of the water. Generally, the race is planned to depart from our club rooms in Burswood, race downstream on the Swan River to Point Walter where we round the turn boat and head upriver back to the club. 

After the Power Dinghies return, the circuit is set in front of the club rooms for the Bathtubs, Formula 8s and a feature race for the old school Avon Descent retro Tinnies.
